Squantz Pond

Yesterday, as the sun began to come out, we decided to visit Squantz Pond to do some filming and to find a lookout point where we could do our timelapse. After over an hour of trekking through mud and getting eaten by bugs, we found a crazy lookout point that overlooked Candlewood Lake and part of Squantz Pond.

Once there, we did some panning shots and I (Dan) tried to use Connor's GoPro Helmet Cam to do a rock climbing type of shot. In the middle of that Connor came across one of the biggest snakes any of us had ever seen in the wild. The species is yet to be determined.

The way back was not so fun because we got lost and found ourselves on Pine Hill rather than at the top of Squantz where we had originally started. After 20 or 30 minutes of confused walking, Justin Menke came to save the day and drove us back to Squantz. What a good guy.

Here are some photos of our journey.
